TribeHive heads to new football stadiums…

We have written about the brilliant TribeHive a few times here on created by US (includinghereand here) – creators of the innovative smartphone app and system led by Dr Ian Wakeman that boosts phone signals in crowded public places by creating a linked network between users.

Now, as we start to head into the new football season, TribeHive’s digitalStadium app, which has been trialled very successfully over the road from the University of Sussex at the American Express Community Stadium with the fans of Brighton and Hove Albion for over a year, is also heading to other locations in the UK.

The digitalStadium technology enables fans and the club to communicate with each other during a match, providing real-time information on other key games, league table stats and travel information. Fans can also take part in Twitter debates and competitions such as Rate the Ref while watching…
